About The Kundalini Research Institute

Dear Teachers,
Trainers, Students, and Friends:
In an effort to respond to the ongoing conversation
about Teacher Training development and Level Three in
particular, KRI invites you to participate in an
upcoming series of dialogues that will provide you with
background and information about KRI and the Teacher
Training Program, a history of how our organization
developed, a look at what is happening now, the
challenges we face, and an opportunity for you to share
your ideas and opinions, and explore ways for you to
continue your participation.
To initiate this process, Guru Raj Kaur, one of our most
experienced Trainers, has written a brief personal
history, which we hope will both inspire and inform you.
(Please download and read the attachment.) She and Hari
Charn Kaur of KRI will open the dialogue on April 23rd
with an overview of Teacher Training and a history of
its development. The schedule of topics and dialogue
sessions are listed below. We realize the times are
inconvenient for some members of our global community.
We are planning to create other opportunities for
dialogue in Europe, Asia and Latin America. We hope you
can join us! If not, the calls are being recorded and
KRI can provide you with the link.

Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, was brought to
the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1968. Yogi Bhajan taught
that, through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and
meditation, your glandular and nervous systems are
stimulated, and your capacity for creative potential is
heightened. You gain inner vitality to compensate for
the adverse effects of stress so you can excel in life.

Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you
the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation.
Balancing body and mind enables you to experience the
clarity and beauty of your soul. No previous experience
in yoga is required for you to achieve results with your
very first class.
Men
of great knowledge actually found out about the chakras
–their workings, their petals, their sounds, their
infinity, their co-relationship, their powers.
They found that the life of a human is totally based on
these chakras. This total science gave birth to
Kundalini Yoga.
