Announcing new changes to the Aquarian Trainer Academy: At the June 2011 Trainers Forum, held in Espanola, New Mexico, the Academy announced changes affecting all Academy Members. These changes were approved in April by the Academy’s governing body, the Teacher Trainer Executive Committee (TTEC) and went into effect July 1, 2011. Along with these new changes, the Academy has created a number of new tools/documents to guide and support the development of Trainers.

To access these changes and new tools, click on the links below. Also included are the presentation and video from the June 2011 KRI Trainers Forum. For those who did not attend the forum, we recommend viewing sections four through eight as they provide helpful insights into how these tools are to be used when moving to a new Trainer level in the Academy.

Aquarian Trainer Academy (ATA): The purpose of the Academy is to cultivate and fully utilize the talents and attribute of each individual who is called to be a Teacher Trainer, while maintaining quality and consistency in training. Through the structure of the Trainer Academy, we are striving to create coherence and credibility in the continued transmission of the teachings of the Master. This insures that future Trainers will have the necessary skill and caliber to deliver the teachings. The Aquarian Trainer Academy is dedicated to the realization of the fullest potential and contribution of each Trainer. Toward this end, we have created an orderly, yet flexible system of classification and developmental process. Each step in this process carries a specific set of qualifications, teaching roles, program roles, skills, attributes and annual licensing appropriate to that level.

One of the first things an interested applicant needs to do is to find a Mentoring Lead Trainer who will act as their mentor.

How to locate a Mentoring Lead Trainer
The Mentoring Lead is the teacher trainer who will develop trainers-in-training (TNTs) from Intern through Professional level. Below is the list of Lead Trainers that are currently approved to mentor in the ATA. If you wish to apply to the Academy, choose a trainer from this list and then contact them about the possibility of mentoring under them. It is important to know that Mentoring Leads are under no obligation to accept you. Once a Lead Trainer has agreed to mentor you, talk about your goals and go over practical details with them. The documents below will provide guidelines for this first step and open the dialogue between Mentor and Mentee regarding expectations, financial agreement, time frame, concerns and other pertinent topics. Once you have acceptance from a Mentoring Lead Trainer, follow the steps described under Entry into the Academy.

Not all Lead Trainer’s qualify as Mentoring Leads so if you want to mentor with a Lead Trainer who is not on this list, please have that Lead Trainer contact Tarn Taran Singh directly.

To all members of the Aquarian Trainer Academy: Current Academy policy, which went into effect on January 1, 2011, requires that all members of the Academy (Applicants, Interns, Associates, Specialists, Professionals and Lead Trainers) must be certified Level Two Practitioners. If you are not fully Level Two certified please fill out the
Level 2 Extension Request to show your plan for taking the Level Two modules you haven’t completed in order to continue to license and/or participate in the Academy.

Entry into the Academy as an Intern

A Trainer applicant enters the Academy through an application and approval process. To begin, a prospective trainer is responsible for finding a Training Program and Mentoring Lead Trainer who accepts them for mentoring and then provides a letter to the Academy indicating that intention. After reviewing the list of qualifications found in the Applicant Instructions and judging that they are met, the applicant submits an application, documentation of KY teaching hours, signed Code of Excellence, applicant questions, Competency Evaluation Form and applicant fee to KRI.

Important: You cannot apply to a higher level of the Academy without having first been officially approved as an Intern in the Academy.
