Each trainer can choose to modify the suggested exams (there is an take-home, essay based version, and an in-class, short answer version available on the trainer support website). And you can choose how to administer them (open or closed book, solo or in groups, etc.).
The team in Southeast Asia developed an interactive method of giving the exam that seems well suited for the pedagogical benefits. Check out the instructional videos here, and all of the associated paperwork. Then feel free to do it exactly like this, or modify it for your needs!
