Overview of Program
We have created a Kundalini Level One Teacher Training Program that captures the progression of the times. With the sophistication of technology, we are able to bring in a diverse teacher training team filled with high caliber trainers from all over the world.
In this training, we will be diving into the different facets of Kundalini Yoga that point us towards understanding who and what we are, so we may project our radiance and become aligned with the present, our creativity, and the infinite possibilities around us.
Every single session is recorded. You will be responsible for attending each session or completing the recordings on your own time. Please keep in mind this is a 220 hour yoga teacher training. It will take time and dedication to move through the material. This is the age of self initiation. No one is going to bother you about completing the training, your accountability comes from within. (And we do have systems in place for peer accountability and verification of completion).
The course spans 3 Saturday’s a month for 6 months of Online classes that date beginning February 2021 – July 2021
The online portion of the course will be taught through Live Zoom sessions.
There will also be in home support during the weeks with 90 Minute minute assignment of pre-recorded videos, interactive material, off-line activities, independent reading, art projects, peer meetings, and more.

If you decide to take the training 100% online:
During the Hawaii segment, we will be broadcasting live and recording. You will be responsible for completing all of the elements of this part of the training as well, either live or recorded. The course is set to run as a 6 month training. In this 6 months you will have access to the teachers and trainers for support. You have 18 months from the start of the training to complete all of the requirements. After these 18 months, you are no longer eligible for certification.
Enjoy connecting with others while staying in the comfort and safety of your own home. The course will be held 100% through Zoom. We will send out the Zoom link a few days to those who are registered to the course.
General information of the course
Hawaii Island Retreat will provide three meals a day for all full days, snacks and dinner on arrival, and breakfast on departure . Meals primarily consist of fresh, wholesome foods from THE HAWAII SANCTUARY organic farm. Food straight from the land to our tables. The 50 acre Hawaiian sanctuary has abundant organic vegetable gardens and tropical fruit trees. The meals are delicious and nutritious lacto-vegetarian menu, which includes vegan and gluten free choices and organic produce. Please let us know any dietary accommodation needs.
Sadhana is the daily practice of waking up in the amrit vela time (2 1/2 hours before the sun rises) to meditate and chant God’s Name. In the words of Yogi Bhajan, “Sadhana is nothing but where a disciplined one, the love, talks to one’s own soul. It is nothing but where one cleans his own mind.”
“Sadhana is nothing but where one prepares for the day to become kind and compassionate for everyone, including the enemies. We get up early in the morning, we rise, and we do our sadhana so that we can match up with the day, so we can match up with absolute reality. Face the reality with reality. Don’t face the reality with laziness and slowness. If you do so, you will never be successful and then you are your own enemy. You can’t make it. And that’s why sadhana is an act.” -Yogi Bhajan
Morning Group Sadhana is a disciplined daily practice that can move one toward self-realization and expanded consciousness. Sadhana begins with a traditional prayer called Japji and is followed by one hour of Kundalini Yoga and then one hour of chanting and meditation. The traditional 3HO Sadhana is in the predawn hours because of the powerful energy and stillness of this time of day. For certification, a minimum of 10 early morning Sadhanas is required and you will be encouraged to attend more as your energy permits. If you’re not used to getting up this early, we recommend starting before the course to get your body into this rhythm.

- 3:40 AM – 4:00 AM Japji (Prayer)
- 4:00 AM – 4:45 AM Kundalini Yoga
- 4:45 AM – 6:00 AM Aquarian Sadhana Mantra Meditation, Live Music
We are committed to being mindful of the the aboriginal Native Hawaiian’s and the sacred land we are graced to train on. Our program encourages cultural awareness and we will provide resources leading up to the training about Hawaiian culture to nurture the relationship of respect and reconciliation with Native peoples.
