Since 2001, KRI has managed the intellectual property rights of the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan held by  YB Teachings, LLC. Thus, we review the accuracy of the use of the teachings and grant these publications the KRI Seal of Approval \u2013 a mark of accuracy and quality.<\/p>\n<p>If you intend to use the Teachings in a publication or other product, the best time to contact KRI regarding the KRI Seal is early in your product development. Working with KRI along the way ensures that the approval process will be done efficiently within your timeline and minimizes the need for costly revisions.<\/p>\n<p>Note that approved products do not have exclusivity; KRI will approve qualified products consisting of the same subject matter. KRI does not assist in the creation of the product (editing, graphic design and layout), publishing or distribution.<\/p>\n<h2>Why apply for the KRI Seal of Approval?<\/h2>\n<p>The KRI Seal of Approval lets consumers know that the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan included in your product has been reviewed and are conveyed with accuracy and integrity.<\/p>\n<p>The KRI Seal of Approval honors those products that meet the standards of KRI review and the Seal can be displayed on your product and advertisements. Products with the Seal of Approval will be promoted by KRI and IKYTA. Collectively, we reach teachers and students of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan\u00ae all over the world.<\/p>\n<h2>Steps to Receive the KRI Seal of Approval:<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<h3><b>Step 1: Initial consultation to determine eligibility<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contact Siri Neel Kaur at <\/span><a href=\"mailto:sirineel108@gmail.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sirineel108@gmail.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for an initial consultation. Together we will determine whether your product simply requires permission for use of the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan or is eligible for the KRI Seal of Approval.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are requesting use of a small amount of the Teachings and the majority of your product is not from the Teachings, your product is not eligible for the KRI Seal. You will complete a Permission Application and Agreement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the majority of your product comes from the Teachings, then you will proceed with the following steps.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Step 2: Complete and submit the Application Form including all documentation<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the initial consultation the application form will be sent to you. COmplete and return it to Siri Neel. On the application you will provide a list of the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan (including kriyas, meditations, quotations, and concepts) used in your product and your source(s) for them.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Step 3: Complete the KRI Review Process.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As mentioned earlier the best time to contact KRI is early on in your product development process. Otherwise you may need to make costly and time consuming revisions. This is especially true when\u00a0 photographs and illustrations are completed before contacting KRI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the review, KRI will need the list of Teachings and their sources (this information is on your application) and may request scanned copies or links to your sources. The reviewer can work with you on these sections initially and eventually will need to see the complete final version of your product\u00a0 before production to see how the Teachings are presented within the context of the entire product.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Allow a minimum of 4 weeks for the initial review. Depending upon the amount of material to review and the reviewer\u2019s schedule, it may take more or less time. The reviewer will work as best they can within your timeline.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Step 4: Complete a Licensing Agreement.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Completion of a Licensing Agreement for the use of the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan, is the last step before product approval and receiving the Seal to use in your product and PR.
