KRI firmly believes in the teachings and practices of Kundalini Yoga to both transform and sustain lives and communities. In sharing these teachings and practices, KRI is committed to operating according to the highest ethical standards. The practices and discipline of Kundalini Yoga and the spiritual philosophy that underlies it are the focus of our organization and its moral compass.
As trainers of Kundalini Yoga Teachers, KRI has adopted the below Code of Ethics and other policies that we expect all of our certified teachers world-wide to adhere to. KRI works with a separate organization, the Office of Ethics and Professional Standards, to neutrally investigate and adjudicate all complaints about possible breaches of out Code of Ethics.
KRI Respectful Student-Teacher Relationships Policy
This policy refers to all Kundalini Yoga teachers, trainers, mentors and trainers-in-training collectively as “Teachers” and to all students, trainees or mentees collectively as “Students”.
KRI Scope of Practice
The KRI Scope of Practice (SOP) applies to every KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. This Scope of Practice provides a specific description of teaching Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® (also referred to as “the Teachings of Kundalini Yoga”).

These guidelines are not ethical in nature. The Kundalini Yoga teachings remain as they have been given. They are not diminished or compromised by the choices any individual Teacher makes in their life and practice.
