KRI Level One Bridging Application 

Thank you for your interest in getting your Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training certified by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI). 

For centuries, Kundalini Yoga was taught in secrecy, accessible only to a select few in certain parts of the world. This changed when one of its masters, Yogi Bhajan, made the decision to share this technology openly. With this openness came the responsibility to preserve the integrity of the Teachings: he established a school, along with protocols designed to preserve the integrity and continuity of the Teachings.

KRI’s mission is, through education and training, to ensure the longevity of these Teachings and to safeguard their authenticity in alignment with the latest scientific research and excellence in standards for those trained to teach them. It also includes making the Teachings accessible in their integrity to anyone who desires to experience them worldwide.

It is in the spirit of this mission that KRI is open to considering that someone who was trained in a non-KRI certified Kundalini Yoga course might still be eligible for integration into the KRI certification program. This process is referred to by KRI as ‘Bridging.’

Bridging enables the applicant to join in the path of KRI certified teachers in Level One, Level Two and Level Three and to have the opportunity to become a teacher trainer in the Aquarian Trainer Academy.

As a Bridging applicant, you will need to meet the same requirements asked of all KRI Level One teachers in training. In addition, provide detailed information about the curriculum and syllabus from your non-KRI Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training program, as well as be tested on your teaching skills.

The first step is for you to find an active KRI Lead Trainer willing to guide you through the process. If you are unable to find a qualified Lead Trainer available to assess your training and skills to help you with the Bridging process, you can contact KRI for assistance. 

Once you decide to move forward with the Level One Bridging process, the next step is to fill out the online application as thoroughly as possible. This application will be reviewed and forwarded to your chosen Lead Trainer for further processing. Please be aware there will be fees involved. 

We hope you will enroll in this global community and lineage with over tens of thousands of Kundalini Yoga teachers certified by KRI and several hundred teacher trainers worldwide.
