Harimandir Kaur Khalsa

Board Chair

Harimandir Kaur’s journey into Kundalini yoga began in the vibrant 3ho community, where she discovered its transformative power from a young age. Graduating from Miri Piri Academy with her Level 1 teacher training, she began teaching donation-based Kundalini Yoga classes straight out of high school, sharing its benefits with others.

Today, as a licensed Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Herbology in the Natural Wellness Industry, she integrates Kundalini Yoga teachings into her daily life and work. Harimandir Kaur is passionate about building community through shared values and respect, and she continues to support the growth of the global Kundalini Yoga community with dedication and enthusiasm.


Aman Jiwan Kaur

Board Secretary

Aman Jiwan Kaur began practicing Kundalini Yoga in 2012 while living in Chile.  After just several weeks of attending classes, she began to experience some of the many benefits of kundalini yoga and she hasn’t stopped practicing since. 

In 2018, she became a certified teacher.  Since then, Aman Jiwan has taught Kundalini Yoga at her workplace, first in the U.S. Embassy and the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Santiago, Chile.  She continued teaching kundalini yoga at work while serving as Country Manager in Chile for a U.S. multinational company.  Following a move to North Carolina to take on a global role with the same company, she taught fellow employees both in Charlotte in person as well globally virtually.  

Aman Jiwan is passionate about ensuring the transformative kundalini yoga teachings and practices are widely taught globally and are preserved for the benefit of future generations.  

Aman Jiwan served as a U.S. diplomat in 5 Spanish-speaking countries during her 26 year career, helping U.S. companies to export and invest globally.  She then joined a U.S. multinational company to lead their external affairs and sustainability functions in Chile and later globally.  


Dharam Dev Kaur Khalsa

KRI Board Member

Dharam Dev Kaur took her first Kundalini Yoga class in 1971 in Los Angeles, California. She is a Lead Trainer in the ATA for Level 1 and 2 and has completed Level 3. She was partner at a Kundalini Yoga studio in Santa Monica, California until 2022 where she taught and administered many Level 1 & 2 courses with her husband. She has also taught at Teacher Trainings in Hollywood, WLA, San Diego, Utah and Mexico.

She was a 3ho Board member from 2015-2021 and is a current board member of Sikh Dharma of Southern California.

Dharam Dev Kaur has a BFA in Dance and MA in Clinical Psychology. She is a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist In California and has an LPCC license in New Mexico.

 

Jaap Kaur Khalsa (Kitty Pope)

Life Mission — Respect and Appreciate all as support maximizing global access to Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan to benefit humanity and usher in Aquarian Age for maximum duration (15k yrs).  Methodology — training students, teachers, and mentoring trainers; serving on KRI board.   

Kundalini Yoga 2001-Present.  2002 Masters Touch Level 1 Instructor, 2009 Level 2 Practitioner, 2018 Level 3 Teacher.  Aquarian Trainer Academy 2007-Present, Lead Trainer –2014 Level 1, 2017 Level 2 & 21 Stages, 2018/19 Mentoring Lead.    

Dharma 2002 – Present, Amrit 2005.   

3HO of Arizona Nonprofit — 2004-2018, 5 yrs Board  Secretary, 5 yrs Exec Director & WTY organizer, 5 yrs Lead Trainer.

Nam Kaur Khalsa

KRI Board Member

Nam Kaur served as the founding Executive Director of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA) in 1994, and as CEO of the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) for 11 years. With Yogi Bhajan’s guidance she developed the international standard for Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training and produced KRI’s Level 1 Aquarian Teacher Training Textbook and Yoga Manual.

Nam Kaur has been a student of Kundalini Yoga since 1973 and is a KRI Certified Professional Teacher Trainer. She taught in the Master’s Touch Kundalini Yoga Immersions with Yogi Bhajan and enjoys teaching at Yoga Festivals and Teacher Training programs worldwide.

Nam Kaur is the author of Divine Relationships: Two Bodies, One Soul. She self-published Dr. Siri Atma Singh’s books, Waves of Healing, and Kundalini Yoga for Intuition & Destiny.

JaiDev Singh

KRI Board Member

Explorer of the areas of human development for more than 20 years. In his early years, he worked in the formal labor system, in areas of administration, finance and teaching, hired by large companies in the country, as well as on his own business projects that operate successfully to this day.

After a few years, in a desire to search for his own internal and spiritual development, he realized that traditional methodologies were not enough to support the human being of the present, and he undertook a search and investigation through the Eastern sciences. He becomes a Kundalini Yoga teacher and begins a long journey through India, Nepal, Mongolia, China and other countries that contain profound wisdom and techniques for human well-being, returning to South America to build one of the largest yoga schools in South America, with several branches operating today.

Its main task is the implementation of opportunities to strengthen spiritual consciousness and well-being, placing intelligence as a powerful servant of these aspects in people. To do so, it uses modern techniques and ancient methodologies of high efficiency and effectiveness. Teacher and trainer of Kundalini Yoga Instructors since 2006, with certification from the Kundalini Research Institute trainers academy in the United States.

Coach for government teams and large companies in South America. Restless developer of business projects in the fields of education, adventure tourism and real estate, he has been able to transfer the teaching of yoga from the perspective of the professional and work performance of ordinary people, consolidating a highly comprehensive methodology of the realities of our society.

Gurutrang Singh Khalsa

Dr. Gurutrang Singh Khalsa, DC, DABCI is an Amritdhari Sikh, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and Chiropractic Physician specializing in Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). A lifelong musician, his voice and guitar have supported Morning and Aquarian Sadhanas worldwide since 1971, and he is known for both his devotional and Heritage 3HO songs. Trained personally by the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, in advanced yogic healing methods, he also contributed with members of the Khalsa Chiropractic Association, to The Miracle of Healing Hands – The Complete Guide to Ancient Yogic Healing and Massage Techniques as Taught by Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D., authored by Dr. Waheguru Singh. Dr. Gurutrang lives with his wife, Gurumata Kaur, at Guru Ram Das Ashram in Herndon, Virginia, and practices at NET Chiropractic in Sterling, Virginia. His mission is to heal and uplift through chiropractic care, meditation, mantra, and devotional music.

Sat Kirtan Kaur

Sat Kirtan Kaur Khalsa is a dedicated Kundalini Yoga teacher, conscious business consultant, and author committed to bringing the teachings of Kundalini Yoga into leadership, business, and daily life. She is the founder of Learn from a Yogi, an online platform that offers transformative courses, and the co-founder of the Akara Numerology Mastery Academy.

Her work spans daily energy forecasts, online daily sadhana, and Business Yoga Teacher Training, supporting individuals in aligning their personal energy with their highest potential. Through her Conscious Leadership programs, she empowers leaders and entrepreneurs to integrate yogic wisdom into business, creating workplaces that are both heart-centered and high-performing.

As the author of Bye Bye Stress in 9 Minutes or Less and How to Become a Conscious Leader, she provides practical tools for personal transformation. Her mission is to make Kundalini Yoga accessible and impactful in all areas of life, guiding individuals to level up—in their self-awareness, leadership, and ability to create meaningful change.

As a KRI Board Member, she is committed to expanding the global reach of Kundalini Yoga, supporting both teachers and students in deepening their practice and impact.

Sarabjit Kaur Khalsa

KRI Board Member

Sarabjit Kaur Khalsa from San Diego, California.  She has a BA in Speech Communication with a minor in Political Science.  She has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since she was 14 years old.  She is considered the “mother of Kundalini Yoga” in Madrid and was one of the first pioneers of Kundalini Yoga in Spain.  She is a level 1, 2 and 3 lead trainer and has dedicated her life to sharing and expanding the teachings of Yogi Bhajan through Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma.  She has been serving on the board of 3HO Europe for over 15 years and now eager to serve on the board of KRI.
